The Pratt Music Scholars for 2020-21.
The Pratt Music Foundation Scholarship Class of 2020-21 includes 20 students from Bloomington, 15 from Normal, and one each from Washington and Gridley. Twenty-one students study piano, seven study violin, three study viola, and six pursue the cello. One scholar is taking both violin and viola. Nine students attend District 87 schools, eighteen attend Unit 5 schools, five are home-schooled, three attend private schools (Epiphany, St. Mary's, and Cornerstone), one attends CUSD 51 (Washington) and one attends Unit 11 (El Paso-Gridley).
The thirty-seven Pratt Music Foundation Scholars for 2020-21 represent an investment (this year) of over $46,250 in the next generation of music in our community.
